Locover provides tools that make it easy for you to create and manage a Record. The ranking of Records in search results on the Locover depends on several factors, including the following main parameters: Guest search parameters (eg Number of Guests, time and duration of trip, price range), Listing attributes (e.g. Price, calendar availability, number and quality of images, Reviews, Host Service type, Host status, Age of listing, average Guest popularity), Guest booking experience (eg, host's customer service and cancellation history, ease of booking), Host requirements (e.g. minimum or maximum night, booking expiration) and Guest preferences (e.g. previous trips, saved Lists, Guest searched location). Search results may appear different in our mobile app than they appear on our website.
You are responsible and liable for your own actions and omissions, and you are also responsible for the actions and omissions of those you allow to participate in providing your Host Services. You are responsible for setting your price and determining the rules and requirements for your Ad. You must disclose all fees and expenses in your registration statement and you may not receive any other fees. If you work with a co-host or host as part of a team, business, or other organization, each individual participating in the provision of host services is as responsible and liable as a Host under these Terms. If you accept the terms or enter into contracts, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to enter into and bind contracts for your team, business, or other organization, and that each entity you use is in good standing under the laws of the location where it was established. If you perform other functions, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to perform those functions. If you instruct Locover to transfer part of your payment to a co-host or other Hosts, or to send a payment to someone else, you should be authorized to do so.
You agree that hosting carries inherent risks and you assume all risk arising from your access to and use of Locover, the provision of Host Services, or any interaction you may have with other Members in person or online. You agree that you have the opportunity to research any laws, rules, regulations or obligations that may apply to Locover and your Recordings or Host Services, and that you do not rely on any legal representations made by Locover.
Generally, if a guest cancels their booking; The amount paid to you is determined by the Cancellation Policy applicable to that reservation. As the host, you must not cancel a guest's reservation without a valid reason under our Extenuating Conditions Policy or applicable law. If you cancel the guest's reservation without such a valid reason; Locover may charge you a Cancellation Fee and Other Consequences. If a guest cancels their reservation in accordance with our Extenuating Conditions Policy; You cannot charge any fees. If a guest cancels their reservation; You cannot charge any fees. If a guest receives a refund after they have paid you, or if the payment made to you by Locover is required to be refunded later; You undertake to return the payment. If the refund and other costs incurred by Locover exceed your payment; Locover can get this amount back from you. By accepting this agreement, you agree to the Locover Guest Refund Policy, Extenuating Terms Policy. Reservation Changes: Hosts and Guests are responsible for any Reservation Changes they agree to make to Locover or directly to Locover customer service on their behalf and agree to pay any additional amounts, fees or taxes associated with a Reservation Change.
As a host, it is your responsibility to determine and fulfill your obligations to report, collect, remit or include in your price any applicable VAT or other indirect taxes, occupation taxes, tourist taxes, income or other taxes (" Taxes"). ).
Locover, In certain jurisdictions, Tax regulations may require us to collect and/or report Tax information about you, or to withhold Taxes from paying you, or both. If you do not provide us with documents that we determine are sufficient to support our obligation to withhold Taxes from payments due to you, we may withhold payments up to the amount required by law until sufficient documentation is provided. You agree that Locover may issue invoices or similar documents on your behalf for VAT, GST, excise or other Taxes for your Host Services to facilitate accurate tax reporting for you, our Guests and/or their affiliates.
